While Houses and Flats are assessed under the Code for Sustainable Homes, all other buildings are assessed under BREEAM.

BREEAM is the most widely accepted environmental assessment method for new buildings. A number of schemes have been developed to assess different building types, for example healthcare or education.

We are registered BREEAM assessors who can guide you through the assessment process.

Health facilities, schools and other government buildings are now required to be assessed and meet a minimum level.

A number of core issues are common to all BREEAM schemes. Other issues are tailored to suit the type of building being assessed. There are many technical issues to be addressed and information will be needed from a number of different sources and we will manage this process for you.

The later a BREEAM assessor has been appointed the more difficult it will be to meet a particular level. A number of the issues require consideration at an early stage in the development of a design, which is when our advice will prove invaluable.
