Construction of a new, state of the art, elderly care facility on a site about 2.5 miles from Bristol City Centre. The site is close to a large retail park which was developed on the site of the former Imperial Park Tobacco factory. The building is designed as wings leading from a central facilities area, with extensive landscaping and bedrooms overlooking attractive communal gardens. The wing design minimises the institutional feel of long corridors, providing instead a setting which feels more domestic, with resident lounges and dining rooms in each area.
