Waverley Gardens Phase 2 – Bristol

The success of Phase 1 led to NOMA’s appointment by Brunelcare for the second phase of the development. We have now completed a further 62 apartments bringing the total number of units on site to 117. This new development creates a community for older residents, a place of safety and support, a place of tranquility and security, providing for all of the needs of an elderly community.

The new apartments follow the design quality of the original scheme, but updated to current standards. Level, secure internal access is provided from the entrance foyer to each apartment where Buggy parking is provided outside each front door. Each resident has immediate access to internal and external communal courtyard spaces, and to the extensive services and facilities in the development, including Dining Rooms where lunch is served each day, lounges, bathing, spa facilities and treatment room facilities, cinema and laundry.

The development is fully staffed and the care needs of each resident is fully catered for. The development is a combination of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments arranged over 2 and 3 storeys. The development is fully sustainable and extremely popular with the residents.

The construction works included a large relocatable temporary roof over the whole site, which withstood some of the harshest weather conditions experienced for many years.
